Has the real Mount Sinai been found? Unprecedented footage of a previously sealed-off mountain in Saudi Arabia presents provocative evidence that it has.

Now we can all see it for ourselves, thanks to an amazing documentary by Ryan Mauro, a terrorism/Islam/Middle East expert who is also a frequent guest on major news and media outlets. The documentary is called Finding the Mountain of Moses: The Real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. As the title suggests, Mauro contends that Mount Sinai is in fact in Saudi Arabia. By following a crumb trail of clues from the Bible, and inspired by the efforts of several explorers a few decades ago, he found a mountain on the Saudi side of the Gulf of Aqaba that seems to fit the biblical description of the route and the mountain itself with stunning accuracy. I’m not a scholar, and I’m aware that some scholars have scoffed at the idea that this could be the real Mount Sinai. But I nonetheless find the possibility extremely interesting given the evidence presented.

In the interest of full disclosure, Ryan Mauro is a good friend of mine. He actually invited me to go on one of these trips to Saudi Arabia with him, but I wasn’t in the mood to risk getting thrown in a Saudi prison! I’ve personally studied this site myself for a number of years, and hope I get to visit it one day. Prior to Ryan’s trip, the only publicly accessible video footage was very poor. Ryan’s footage is at a whole new level, and offers unprecedented views of evidence I personally find compelling.

But that evidence is much better seen than read about. So without further ado, and with great appreciation and admiration for my friend Ryan, here is his fascinating new documentary. If you would like to support Ryan’s efforts to pursue more research, as well as protect this amazing site, visit his website for this project, Sinai in Arabia.
